Your garden should be a place for everyone – including people in wheelchairs, with walkers, or parents with strollers. But grass gets soft after rain, wheels sink in, and small bumps become hurdles. A paved path is expensive and permanent. We will show you how to create an accessible garden path without paving.

Why a mobile garden path?
- No construction work: no digging, no gravel, no paving.
- Flexible: The path leads to the terrace today, to the raised bed tomorrow, or to a garden party on the lawn.
- Removable: The path can be picked up at any time and stored away to save space.
- Durable: TRAIL-MATE path panels support up to 3.5 tons – suitable for wheelbarrows, lawnmowers, or electric wheelchairs.
How to plan the path
Width: TRAIL-MATE panels create a 90 cm wide path – sufficient for wheelchairs and walkers. Where two people need to travel side-by-side or turn around, place two panels next to each other.
Length: Measure the distance. With TRAIL-MATE FLEX (45 × 90 cm) you need about 23 panels for 10 m, with TRAIL-MATE CLASSIC (90 × 90 cm) about 11 panels.
Securing: On grass, TRAIL-MATE PINS hold the panels in place. The Velcro connections ensure a continuous path without gaps.

Tips for the lawn
If the path stays in the same place for a long time, we recommend lifting the panels occasionally or shifting them slightly. This allows the grass underneath to get light and air.
FLEX or CLASSIC for the garden?
At 1 kg per panel, FLEX is particularly lightweight and quick to lay out – ideal if the path moves often or is even meant to go on vacation with you. CLASSIC is the robust choice for longer, permanently laid paths.

Are you planning an accessible garden? With the TRAIL-MATE FLEX set (8 panels, 3.6 m path), you can get started from €219.
